The Reason I Write

Writing, traveling, sharing….these are things I love to do!  I thought my life was set and would be traditional.

I married my high school sweetheart, John.  We had a son, Cam.  Life was rocking along.  We had a normal life, somewhat routine.  We went to church, worked, and did all the usual things that go along with a growing son.

I didn’t expect it to change.

John passed away after a short illness, totally unexpected.  Dealing with the death of a husband and dad changed everything.

We started the grieving process and learned to live without our loved one.  We’ve done it well, however, not perfect.

This blog simply allows me to write about our memories and about our life now.  It gives me an outlet to grow.
